Rajesh Amin

Raj has more than 20 years of experience in financial markets, in leading roles spanning quant, trading and portfolio management in both start up and established company settings. His experience includes setting up and running custom index desks, rules-based asset management and managed account platforms from the perspective of running the activity, creating and managing investment content, and organising technology and business process. Prior to founding 2RSquared, Raj was Head of Investment Management at Brevan Howard Liquid Portfolio Strategies and ran two of their UCITs funds. Prior roles included Head of Investment Management at Decura, Global Head of Fund Derivatives and co-head of Global Structured Credit Trading at Goldman Sachs. During his career he has been responsible for over $5 billion of Index notional and $10 billion in fund structures. Raj has a BSc in theoretical physics from Imperial College, a master's degree in chaos theory from UCL and a master's degree in mathematics from Cambridge.
Razvan Moisa

Razvan has a deep background in technology and software engineering, including over 8 years in designing, building and running financial trading systems. Prior to founding 2RSquared he worked at Brevan Howard as the Lead Technologist of the Systematic Investment Group where he had a central role in developing the full spectrum of data management, strategy research and trade execution capabilities. Previously he worked at JPMorgan within their Front Office technology group leveraging new technologies to develop systems across high volume trade flows, risk management and pricing. Razvan holds a BSc in Computer Science with Management from King's College London.

Ralf is a seasoned equity capital markets professional with more than 25 years of experience. Having advised corporate clients on raising equity funds in excess of USD 100bn, Ralf has a unique understanding of the institutional investment process. Prior to joining 2RSquared, Ralf was Global Head of Equity Capital Markets Advisory at KPMG. Previous roles included Co-Head of Barclay's EMEA Equity Capital Markets business and ECM leadership positions at NM Rothschild & Sons, Merrill Lynch and Paribas Capital Markets. Whilst originally from Germany, Ralf has been living in London for 28 years. He holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Münster, Germany.
Dr Peter Hartley

Peter has more than 15 years of hands-on experience in quantitative finance. Prior to joining 2RSquared, Peter worked at Goldman Sachs running the London quant teams for Equity Structured Products, Equity Volatility and Equity Synthetics, with a particular emphasis on leading and contributing to the global initiatives around risk management, trading automation and model architecture. Prior to that he was Head of Analytics and Chief Risk Officer at Decura where he wrote a fully featured systematic strategies framework. Peter also had another earlier period at GS as an FX Strat and then as Head of Fund Derivative Strats, where he developed the framework for rules based strategies that now drives the GS Global Systematic Strategies business. Peter has a PhD in Mathematical Finance from the University of Bath and a master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.

Andreas is looking back on a long and distinguished career in financial services and academia. From 2010 to 2018, Andreas was a member of the Board of Deutsche Bundesbank, the German central bank, with responsibilities for financial stability, bank supervision, financial markets, statistics, risk control, economic education and the Bundesbank representatives abroad. In this function Andreas represented the Bundesbank at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Bank of International Settlements (BIS), the OECD, the G7 and the G20, the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS), the Financial Stability Board (FSB) and served on numerous European bodies, including the European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB) as well as the European Central Bank‘s Supervisory Board of the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM). Prior to joining the Bundesbank, Andreas served in leadership roles with globally leading investment banks, including Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Rothschild, JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank. Andreas was awarded an honorary professorship from the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel in 2009 and since 2018 he has served as an Adjunct Senior Research Scholar of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, New York. Andreas is currently serving as a senior adviser to Oliver Wyman, Santander, Sumitomo Mitsui Bank, EJF Capital and various FinTech companies.
